  • Churchfields: we raised an amazing £2,334 for the school at our Christmas Fayre! Congratulations and a big thank you to the Friends of Churchfields (FOC) for their hard work in making the event a success.
  • Combe Down: Year 6 had a wonderful time at the Bath Taps into Science Festival. What an engaging and fascinating morning!
  • Fitzmaurice: Year 5/6 had the pleasure of joining a live assembly all the way from Antarctica. Robert Swan spoke to the children from an ice base, showing them breathtaking views of endless ice and snow. He shared his inspiring story of walking from the North to the South Pole while pulling a 120lb sledge filled with equipment. Robert also answered some of the children’s questions. It was an unforgettable experience that left everyone completely captivated.

  • Oldfield Park Junior: What a performance! OPJ absolutely smashed it! They performed their Christmas panto 'A Hint of Snow White' at a packed Bath Forum with fantastic singing and acting: an absolute treat and all should be so very proud of this achievement. Well done to Miss Mullaly, the whole staff and, of course, our amazing children!

  • St Philip’s: Kite class spent time working hard to make their own cars from wood; scoring, cutting, measuring and creating their own motorised vehicle. The week culminated in 'House Races!’
  • Westbury Leigh: congratulations to the WLP Choir for their excellent performance at the Westbury Christmas Tree Light Festival. Your talent and dedication were truly appreciated. A big thank you to Tribe staff for dressing the tree and to the children from Tribe and knitting club who made the decorations.

  • Westwood with Iford: our walk to the church for the Christingle service was lovely—the sunshine made it even better, and it was wonderful to see so many of you there for the service. Moments like these really bring our school community together.
  • Widcombe Infant: children in Year 1 have been learning about materials in science this term. Which materials are suited for use as an umbrella? We hope the teddies (or children!) didn’t get too wet in answering the question!
  • Widcombe Junior:  thank you to everyone who came to our Carols by Candlelight Christmas concert. It was a wonderful evening filled with song and celebration - such beautiful singing and readings from our children to put us in a festive mood.
  • Winsley: what a fantastic day we had recently, full of festivities; Christmas crafts, followed by Christmas lunch and then a very special visit from Santa himself. And a Christmas disco! Thank you to all the staff, parents, volunteers, WiSCA, Aspens & Victoria and Tracy in the kitchen who made the day possible for our children!
