Education Excellence

What is a strong trust? A CST Discussion Paper (2021, p.5) Available from www.cstuk.org.uk

Our principles align with our Trust priorities; the Five Pillars.

1. The expectation is for everyone to be as good as they can be.

2. There is no improvement in outcomes for pupils without improvement in teaching, and no improvement in practice without the best evidence-informed professional development.

3. Strong systems within a Trust will facilitate better professional development and thus better teaching and outcomes for all pupils.

The Education Excellence team has continued to develop and have demonstrable impact on school improvement throughout 2022-23. Led by Lisa Pollard, our Director of Education, the team consists of Teaching and Learning Partners who each have lead responsibility for CPLD, Safeguarding, SEND and Sports. A new addition to the team this academic year is that of Trust Church Schools' Lead whose role is to ensure that the Christian distinctiveness is established and embodied in our church schools.
