Oldfield Park Infant School is a community school for children from the ages of 4 to 7 years. The history of the school dates from 1878 and the school has a long tradition of serving the local community. Some families have been educated here for several generations!

The school has an excellent reputation in the local community and everyone associated with the school works hard to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment for the children. Children are cared for as individuals and are encouraged to achieve their best in all aspects of school life. In July 2015 OFSTED judged Oldfield Park Infant School to be a good school with outstanding Early Years Provision. In October 2019 OFSTED reaffirmed this judgement following a 2 day Section 8 inspection.

We place great value on the positive relationships that exist between all members of our school community and encourage strong links between home and school.
