Permanent Facilities Manager, 30 hours per week

Grade F Point 9 – 11: £21,269 - £22,571 pro rata per annum

We have a rare opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our enthusiastic and happy staff teams working across the two schools. The post will cover a range of duties including site security, managing contractors, general maintenance of the premises both internally and externally, weekly and monthly Health & Safety checks, and key holding responsibilities - there may be occasional evening and weekend work. The post holder will need to be aware of applicable Health & Safety legislation and be willing to undertake training appropriate to the role.

The contract hours for this post are 30 hours per week, 44 weeks per year across the two sites.  The post holder will be able to work with a considerable degree of flexibility and would typically be at one site or the other.

We are looking for someone who has a positive and proactive approach, is able to work independently under their own initiative and takes pride in their work to ensure the school sites are maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Previous experience or equivalent would be preferred but is not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
