Grade C points 2-4: £20,441 - £21,189 pro rata per annum

Fitzmaurice Primary School occupies a large, attractive site near the centre of Bradford on Avon with 300 children on roll arranged across 10 classes. Our school works closely with Westwood with Iford Primary School which is located 1.7miles from Fitzmaurice in the village of Westwood. A hidden jewel nestled away in the village with the most stunning grounds. There are currently 65 pupils on roll arranged across 3 classes.

About the Role

Palladian Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a highly efficient and proactive School Administrator to join our well established and friendly team.

Representing Fitzmaurice School at front of house, the ideal candidate will demonstrate experience of communicating well with diverse groups and will be a friendly, welcoming face for parents, pupils, staff, governors and outside agencies, liaising with them as required. Working in fast paced environments and experienced at multi-tasking in previous roles is essential as you will have responsibility of coordinating and collating various school documents (including e-filing), database management, managing and distributing correspondence and assisting with other administrative tasks.

 

Main responsibilities will include.

  • Welcoming visitors to the school ensuring school procedures are followed.
  • Management and distribution of incoming mail/e-mails.
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing of documents across established paper-based filing, e-filing through cloud-based systems.
  • Assisting with stock taking and replenishment.
  • Assisting with the administration of supply teaching to cover teacher absence.
  • Preparation of artwork displays created by our pupil.
  • Additional administrative tasks as required.
  • To Confidently navigate IT suites such as Office 365 and cloud-based software.
  • Experience of working in an education setting is an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
